Good afternoon EDHYLAX parents and players,

The results of the EDHYLAX 2014 Girls Tryouts are posted below. Please note the following:

·        To ensure that players are placed as accurately as possible, player placement is tentative and will be finalized at the coaches’ discretion after the first two weeks of practices in February and all players can be evaluated.

·        Coaches will be reaching out to players in the next few weeks to provide contact information and to answer any specific questions you may have.

·        If your player was placed on a team that has a greater expectation/commitment than you are willing to take on, please contact Randy Gross ( ) and Bob Davis ( ) with your specific concern.

·        Some details on team expectations:

o   A Team

§  Three practices/week

§  Playing time is dependent on ability, is not equal, and is at the coaches’ discretion

§  A majority of the games will be played in the Bay Area

§  End-of-season playoffs in the Bay Area

o   B Team

§  Two practices/week

§  Playing time is mostly equal

§  End-of-season tournament/festival in the Bay Area

We will be holding a general meet-and-greet/parent information night in January 2015 to kick off the year.  Until then, enjoy the holidays.
