WHO AND WHEN TO REGISTER
Registration for our 8U - 14U divisions will be open from Oct 1 - Oct 31, 2023*.
Players born between 9/1/2009 - 8/31/2017
*Late registration is limited to space available by age division. There will be a late fee assessed for those registering outside of the normal October registration window.
Do you live outside of El Dorado Hills, CA 95762?
Our club has two boundaries. We serve all of the residents of El Dorado Hills, CA 95762 with the ability to serve a percentage of residents residing on the western slope of El Dorado County or in a neighboring County.
- Players with an address outside of El Dorado Hills will require EDHYLAX approval.
- For players outside of El Dorado County, you will first need EDHYLAX approval, followed by an email releasing your player from your local rec lacrosse club.

*These are not new restrictions, however with our club's growth it is one we now have to track to ensure we remain in compliance.
A USA Lacrosse Membership valid through May 31, 2024 is required for all players and coaches.
Registration Fees for our 2024 Spring Season
8U Boys and Girls - $100.00
*Late registration after 10/31/2023: $125.00
10U Boys and Girls - $185.00
*Late registration after 10/31/2023: $210.00
12U/14U Boys and Girls - $335.00
*Late registration after 10/31/2023: $385.00

SIBLING DISCOUNTS are back this season!
For those families with siblings who play, EDHYLAX offers a $30 discount for each additional sibling. Please use the appropriate discount based on the number of players you are registering:

What age division do I sign my player up for?
Use the chart to the right to determine your players eligibility. Our registration will only allow you to register in the division that applies to your player, based on their date of birth on their USA Lacrosse Membership.
Our league follows the even years on the age chart. We offer lacrosse for players in the 8U through 14U divisions.

Important Spring 2024 Registration Information - PLEASE READ!
All teams in all age divisions have both home and away games. Home games are held here in EDH. Away games are held at other regional club fields as far west as Davis, as far North as Grass Valley/Auburn and as far south as Stockton. 12/14U teams have potential travel to the Bay Area.
8U Girls and Boys:
Both our girls and boys teams play games against other CO-ED teams within our region.
ALL Protective gear is required for each age.

Practices for each team will be held:
8U - once a week beginning in mid February.
10U - twice a week beginning in mid February.
12-14U - twice a week beginning in early February.
Games begin:
8-10U - in March. Games are held on Fridays with an occasional Saturday.
12-14U - in March. 1-2 games per week are typically held on the weekends on either Saturday and/or Sunday.
Uniforms are required at all ages.

8U and 10U Boys and Girls
Players are required to purchase a Trojans jersey only to participate in the season.
Other uniform pieces are optional and available to purchase from the uniform store in November. For 8U and 10U, you can opt to provide your player with any navy blue undershirt and navy blue shorts.
12U and 14U Boys and Girls
Players are required to have a complete uniform in order to participate in games. This consists of a jersey, shooter shirt*, and shorts.
*Girls shooter shirts are optional and available in long or short sleeve. However, if a shooter shirt is worn under the jersey, it will need to be the league uniform shooter.
Jersey Numbers
Returning players will keep their current jersey number. You will be asked for this number during the registration process.
New players will have the option to submit a request for a specific jersey number during registration. Players can enter up to 3 preferred numbers.
NOTE: These are only requests and are not guaranteed. Final numbers will be assigned by the league and no changes will be made.
Uniform Sizes, Store, and Dates
Samples sizes will be available to try on:
Monday, Nov 6th 6-8pm
Wednesday, Nov 7th 6-8pm
The uniform store will be open from Mon, Nov 6th - Wed, Nov 17th.
The uniform store is only open for 10 days. During that time, uniforms must be ordered to ensure the manufacturer can meet our deadline. A player who does NOT order a uniform, will be unable to participate and will be refunded their full registration fees. NO late orders can be accepted due to the strict manufacturing deadlines.

8U Boys and Girls - We need coaches!
Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches! Without coaches, we have no teams!
Please send an email to president@edhylax.org to volunteer to coach. NO EXPERIENCE necessary. We will provide you with training!
Have you coached basketball or soccer? Then you got this! This is the perfect time to learn the sport along side your player. We know what your thinking.... Someone else will step up. That someone is YOU!
Team Communication - DOWNLOAD THE SPORTS ENGINE APP (SE):
Coaches will use the app to communicate throughout the season. Players will RSVP for practices and games via the app as well.
